Community Manager
Gauge (gauge.ai) is looking for a Community Manager! This is a FULLY remote position, with occasional trips to Gauge's Washington, DC headquarters and client sites in various locations.

Here’s what your day would look like:
You’d report into Samantha Williams, our extraordinary Assoc. Managing Director and Community Lead. Day to day, you’d need to:
- Grow our community: Rapidly recruit thought leaders across various industries and communities to participate in surveys, focus groups, 1x1 discussions for clients and more. This includes managing a monthly report out of community metrics and KPIs.
- Attend to questions and issues: Manage the overall experience of our community, ensuring our Gaugers feel engaged, have any tech or payments issues resolved quickly, and are motivated to continue to contribute, refer friends, and share their love for Gauge.
- Engage and communicate: Develop and manage a consistent stream of community events, communications calendars (including quarterly community newsletters, monthly cultural moments, important platform updates etc.) to nurture a sense of community and belonging.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine, enhance or improve our core products to better serve and grow our influencers community. This includes managing platform audits, UX/UI enhancements etc.
When we review your materials, we’ll be looking for:
- At least 4-5 years of work experience in a fast-paced organization (Note: prior experience in research recruiting is BIG PLUS but not required)
- Evidence of ability to operate independently and solutions oriented, proactively charting strategies to get to big picture goals
- Experience working directly with people/ customers, in all their quirks : ) This is a people-facing role! You must lead with patience and thoughtfulness in interacting with others.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely
- Evidence of outstanding project management skills (strong ability to multitask), with the ability to drive a project from ideation to delivery
- Evidence of ability to juggle multiple competing projects, deadlines and priorities
- Cultural awareness –– a sense of interest in what is happening in the world, and how that awareness relates to your work
- Commitment to kindness, innovation, impact and inclusion
